The peak of Dinara, at 1831 meters high, is the highest mountain peak in the Republic of Croatia. The peak itself consists of two equally high peaks, about fifty meters apart. One of them is marked by a geodetic pole, and on the other there is a five-meter-high metal cross. There is also a simple metal shelter on the first peak.

The peak has a beautiful view and I highly recommend it. The stamp is damaged (smooth), so if you want it, you need to get the print from a stamp in the lodge Planinarski dom Promina. In case if the lodge is not open, you need to call the caretaker (the phone number is located at the website https://www.hps.hr/info/planinarske-kuce/planinarska-kuca-promina/), and she will guide you how to open.

A unique and imposing peak above Kiev. Spectacular view of Dinara, Kijevo, Knin, Lake Peručko and all the lowlands in the area. Relatively easy so worth a visit.

One of the lower peaks of Dinara with a beautiful view of Markovo polje, nature park Dinara, the highest Croatian peak Sinjal, peak Bat, Kijevo, etc... Close to the Brezovac mountain house.

There are different routes to the top. In my case, I started in Glavas and then made a circle - to Dinara on Planinarski Put and back Osjak-Dinara. I find both routes very beautiful. The route is easy, but not that short. When you reach Dinara, you can enjoy the great view. Next to it, you will also find a small shelter and a garden bench.
