Unfortunately, we had to abandon the tour shortly after starting, after crossing the dam. The actual path was blocked by fresh scree. It looked very precarious, and we suspected we might trigger an avalanche. Therefore, we turned back.

Botanical Park At Palaiomonastiro Pegeia Municipal Park lies at the site of Agia Paraskevi at Palaiomonastiro, along the route of Pegeia-Agios Georgios. The park covers a surface of 43,880 square meters, with spatially designed areas and a small artificial lake. It has appropriate areas for meals, a conference hall and a playground. The botanical garden has numerous kinds of aromatic plants, such as laurel, sage, carnation, lavender, as well as traditional trees like carobs, olives and lemon trees.
