It's beautiful there. The whole route is great for children.

At an altitude of 365 meters, it was originally built in the eighties of the last century as an agricultural reservoir for irrigation purposes. And also for recreational use. "Beautiful" is named after the settlement Šentál (Schöntal - Krásné údolí), which stretches along the Hraběšické stream. It occupies an area of almost ten hectares. Its dam is loose, two hundred meters long and almost eight meters high. It is possible to rent a pedal boat, a boat or bring your own surfboard from home. Even in the local restaurant, you can refresh yourself and choose a fragrant specialty and a cold beer to go with your meal.

Part of the biocentre, the site of artificially constructed pools and canals for the support of water-bound animals, is also accessible to tourists, who can learn about local natural values, legends, history and the present of our city on a roughly two-kilometer walk along the educational trail. The trail's information boards are designed so that tourists get information in an active way - they incorporate game and moving elements, thanks to which they can check existing knowledge or discover news from the world of nature and life on earth. On the trail, visitors will also find rest zones that invite not only quiet observation of the fascinating order of nature, but also to calm down, relax the mind and relax.

The biocentre, located in the area "Under the field", covers approximately 10 hectares. It is formed by a system of flowing and non-flowing pools (seven large pools and dozens of small pools), moats and handling facilities. The entire complex of sensitively created elements will enable the permanent existence of a natural ecosystem. The construction for thirty million crowns was co-financed by the European Union - the European Fund for Regional Development within the Operational Program Environment.
