According to legend, the miraculous icon of Saint Panteleimon was found here on the site of the former Kazaviti. The healer Saint Panteleimon is said to have stayed in a cave here. The cave still exists today and is located not far from the monastery complex. Water springs from a natural pool here, which, according to the faithful, has miraculous properties.

The ticket costs 10 €, the Tour is without a guide, buty it is ok ;)

The underground crypt is the most sacred place for the faithful, created on the spot where St. Dimitrios died after long tortures after converting to Christianity as a soldier in the Roman army. The crypt is particularly impressive because of the baptismal font with marble columns, but also because of the exposed foundations of the Roman baths on which the church was built. There is a crypt under the altar. One of the better preserved altar crypts from this period. Entering it by the stairs to the right of the altar, we go down next to a single-nave hall, barrel vaulted with a semicircular apse. Opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. year-round, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in August.

The monastery of "Agios Pantaleimonas" is located at an altitude of about 800 m above Micro Kazaviti or Micro Prinos. The monastery is worth a trip and a visit, especially the church and the grotto. Since the 18th century, the holy doctor Pantaleimon has been worshipped in the grotto during pilgrimage season.
