One of the few ski slopes in Greece is located near the village of Anilio, close to Metsovo. It features a ski lift, a toboggan run for children, a supermarket, a café, and a restaurant. There's also a huge parking lot and a small, artificial, heart-shaped lake. A three-day music festival is held there in August. The owner is a 75-year-old triathlete named Kosta, wiry with white hair and a white beard.

Particularly interesting in spring and autumn, when water flows in the stream.

After a long chill climbing road with 0 traffic, we end up on a lake in a natural forest. Winter time so probably not the best moment to go and take a swim but i guess it's possible.

From up here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Delphi and the vast coastal landscape as far as the Gulf of Corinth - a panorama that lets you feel the vastness and tranquility of the Greek mountains. The serpentine roads wind through the mountains and lead into a sea of olive groves that stretch to the horizon. In the distance, the peak of Helmos rises, its shadow casting a mystical atmosphere over the landscape. A moment in which the history and nature of Greece unite in a unique way - perfect for a short break and a deep breath.

Behind the Koukounariés beach lies the Koukounariés biotope with Lake Strofiliá. The area is a nature reserve. With a little luck, you can observe water birds here.
