In this katun you can buy cold drinks or freshly brewed coffee. It is a point where hikers always take a break. Some come (or are transported) from Vusanje in off-road vehicles to here and then continue on foot.

We walked this far and forgot provisions. We had breakfast here, very tasty but pricey by the standards of this country.

The Katun are a very special form of alpine farming in Montenegro, often with overnight accommodation. At Samel's Cottages you can stay in small cottages or shared rooms. Mama makes the cheese herself, using the milk from her 4 own cows. Morning and evening milking is still done by hand 💪🐮
