Very beautiful nature reserve and very quiet

It is just not near KOlpa, completely other direction of Slovenia, more near Maribor - no river there for swimming like Kolpa is:)

Beautiful moor ponds! And from the observation tower on the edge of the moor you have a good overview.

This small reservoir is located next to the Ruše hut (Ruška koča). Idyllically situated, surrounded by trees and lush meadows. A lovely place for a break during or after your hike.

Beautiful pond, unfortunately it is surrounded by wooden fences. So you can't go into the water here.

Areh and Mariborsko Pohorje, high in the Pohorje Hills, combine to create one of Slovenia's largest ski resorts and in the warmer months you can expect hikers and mountain bikers to take over the trails. Areh is the upper section of the resort and the site is home to a mountain hut, Ruška koča, and a characterful church, Sveti Areh. A free shuttle bus runs between here and the centre at Mariborsko Pohorje.
