イェムトランドの峡谷・トップ7

ドロムスコーランは、切り立った岩壁と荒々しい雰囲気を持つ、狭く劇的な峡谷です。このルートで最も印象的な区間のひとつであり、景色を眺めるためにちょっと立ち寄る価値があります。

This gorge is relatively unknown. It is about 800 meters long, 25 meters wide and 15 meters deep. There are two legends about the origin of the name 'Evagraven'. One tells of a young shepherd girl, named Eva, who disappeared from the shepherd's hut of Ruvallen sometime in the 17th century. The other legend tells of a Sami woman (Eva) who lost her sight during a snowstorm and crashed into the gorge with her reindeer team. In any case, it is an impressive location.

The suspension bridge crosses the Ljungan River at Trãngforsen. Water is only present in the riverbed during the summer tourist season.

The Trångforsen is a gorge with a suspension bridge over it. Water only flows through the small canyon during the summer weeks. During the rest of the year, the water is channeled through a hydroelectric power station on the Ljungan.

The nature reserve was formed in 2015 around the small river Oxsjöån. The heart of the area is the river in its deep gorge. Around the river and west of it, moist spruce forest dominates. West of the river there are various rocky "hills" and pines in a burned forest. There is only one easy forest road through the nature reserve and no hiking trails. However, in the pine forest you can easily find your way up the hills and to the gorge.

It is Sweden's longest water-filled gorge and at 800 meters it is quite impressive.
