美しい滝。多くの人が、数ある滝のひとつに過ぎないと言うでしょう。でも私は、どの滝も美しく、唯一無二だと思います。

Short track to the entrance of the coal mine

The Devils Punchbowl Falls is a waterfall in the Arthur's Pass National Park in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand. It is located not far from Arthur's Pass Village in the course of the Devils Punchbowl Creek, which flows into the Bealey River behind the waterfall. Its height is 112 meters. The Avalanche Creek Falls are located a few hundred meters southwest of it on the opposite side of the valley. The waterfall can be reached from the top of the pass on New Zealand State Highway 73 on a designated one-hour return hiking trail. The path is very easy to walk and a visit is worthwhile.

Nice little hike. Worth seeing. We were there alone.

This is the lower part of the waterfall. Head up to the right and follow the trail to the higher, more impressive, waterfall.

Impressive waterfall. The way there is perfectly developed and is accessible to almost anyone.

One of New Zealand’s most spectacular and stunning waterfall (131 m). The easy walking track starts at the northern end of Arthur's Pass village, at the Punchbowl car park.

From the parking lot in 30 minutes to reach. The way there is easy and leads over a bridge and steps on the Paltt form in front of the waterfall. The waterfall is awesome and is great to take beautiful pictures.
