The Alt-Falkenstein Castle was probably built around 1100 by the Klus family. Today it houses a local history museum, which is open from April to October. There you can explore an exciting collection of archaeology, weapons, home decor and industrial history from the Thal Nature Park. From the castle you can enjoy a great view.

In the Klus to Mümliswil, it is worth taking a look up to the imposing Neu Falkenstein castle ruins.

There are a few benches in the shade with a view of the castle. After the short ascent to here, a break is highly recommended.
