No remains of the wall have survived from the castle site. The twelve meter high shield wall on the south side is the most striking part of the complex. In front of this is a broad, semi-circular neck ditch. On the west, north and east side, the castle site is protected by the steeply sloping terrain. There is a small ditch behind the shield wall, and the buildings stood on a plateau measuring 40 by 40 metres. Two indentations in the surface could come from a cellar or a cistern

Not much can be seen of the ruin itself, but the castle hill is well preserved and there is a plaque by the road about the history of the castle.
