This single-track bridge was built in 1856 and expanded in the late 1950s to include pedestrian walkways on both sides. It is an important transport structure and also a popular photo opportunity for visitors. The bridge spans the river at an angle of about 55 degrees and offers a beautiful view of the Rhine Falls and the surrounding landscape.

From the Schlössli Wörth pier you can get to the Schloss Laufen pier in 5 minutes. Line 2 (red) from https://rhyfall-maendli.ch/ takes you across the Rhine in a spectacular way for 3 CHF. The tickets can be booked conveniently from your mobile phone.
