The Hulfteggstrasse runs parallel to the Fuchslochbach. The stream itself is wildly romantic, with Nagelfluh walls on the eastern bank and many shady holes where snow and ice remain in spring.

Cozy ravine with many small waterfalls and some barbecue areas. The entire route from the TCS car park in Girenbad (Hinwil) to Hinwil is almost twice as long as the marked segment, which makes up the secluded part of the route. From the waterfall to Hinwil it is no longer a pure hiking trail, because the ravine path can be driven on by cars.
