Somewhat hidden, as it doesn't yet appear on Google and Komoot. This year (2025), the wooden hut in the mining park will be a bicycle station for the Peine district's wito. Unfortunately, the station code has been removed from the wooden hut...at least it should be there🤷🏼♀️

A former lumberjack's cottage in the northern Peine district near Meerdorf in the Tadensen forest area. It is equipped with a wood-burning stove and a group room for up to 20 people. A large lean-to roof hugs the house; even in rainy weather, you can barbecue and play games underneath.
