Seven chapels on the cycle paths in the Swabian Danube Valley (near Offingen) In 2016, the Wertingen entrepreneur Siegfried Denzel and his wife set up the Siegfried and Elfriede Denzel Foundation with the aim of promoting art, history, church, religion and culture. In discussions with the founder in February 2017, Dr. Peter Fassl, district heritage officer and deputy chairman of the foundation, developed the Seven Chapels project.

Wonderfully idyllic location. When the weather is good, this is no longer an insider tip. It fills up quickly. Being there early is worth it.
