Forest house 14 oaks... resting place for hikers and bikers. Very cool location to rest and breathe deeply. Crossing point of the paths to Langendembach and Hummelshain or to Neustadt (Hohe Straße)

The Green House was built in 1727 as a hunting lodge and since then has served the dukes as a bad-weather shelter and "dining room". The two-storey building with a wooden gazebo is located in a forest clearing near the Rieseneck hunting facility. The simply furnished building has a kitchen, a living room, several bedrooms on the upper floor and attic and a balcony. The ensemble of the Green House in the immediate vicinity includes the former stables, the coach house, a venison cellar with a dry floor and the well house built in GDR times.

Completely inconspicuous in the forest is the green house with its outbuildings, which is on the way to the hunting grounds. A wonderful piece of earth. 🤗
