The Steinmühlental is a sight to behold: natural and relatively well developed and preserved. Easily accessible for all levels of ability with a little patience and effort - shallow uphill and downhill compared to the other paths in the Upper Harz. You should have some training, but there's no shame in pushing! A break at the old stone mill is always very pleasant.
