A beautiful drinking water dam with beautiful views and sometimes naked facts, as the nudist trail also runs along here. 😉 The dam is open to the public until October 31st.

The Wettelrode artificial pond was created in 1728 as part of the copper mining industry. It was used to supply the Carolus shaft with water. Today the pond is a local recreation area and is used for fishing and swimming. A few meters further on, on the west bank, you will find a restaurant for a stop.
