The Warnsdorfgrund is a narrow valley with umpteen ponds and here and there a nice seating area to linger.

Can be reached quickly even on foot and there are also some sand toys for the little ones.

Finally, a tip. If you are out and about by bike, take a mountain bike. The route is not necessarily suitable for city or touring bikes ...

Today I was at a rather unknown highlight. The Amselfall near Dorna is probably so unknown because it is also quite unspectacular. A small stream spring that flows over a stone. Nevertheless, the way there, difficult as it is, is the goal. You drive via Stadtroda, take the sculpture trail, then over the bridge over the A4, and turn right at the next intersection.
