From the old peat well to the water treatment plant, there's much to discover in the water park. Water is essential and our primary source of life. Hasselt Water Park was established with this in mind, because people only preserve and protect what they know and value. In the 7,000 m², naturally landscaped grounds, the water park offers an overview of the history and technology of water supply. Exhibits and information panels provide information on all topics related to drinking water, making it a sensory experience. From playful elements and historic fountains to a modern water treatment plant, visitors get a sense of how difficult life used to be and how technology has made life much easier for us.

Nice place for a break. There is a lot of information about the history and the subject of water, as well as the technology of water supply. Comparative exhibits about the past and present are set up in the park and invite you to join in.

Water Park In 2001, after intensive planning, we were able to open our water park directly at the Hasselt waterworks. In a 7,000 m2 large, naturally designed area, we offer you an overview of the history and technology of water supply.
