Thanks to the best water quality, the lake is very popular with both locals and holidaymakers. If you want to spend the night in a typical East Frisian style in the immediate vicinity of the lake, you can do so in the holiday home area right on the lake! There are no specific opening times as the bathing lake is freely accessible.
