An impressive tower and you can even climb it and enjoy the great view from the top. It is not easy to reach from the south side as there is a 15 percent gradient at the top. There are also benches at the foot of the tower so you can take a break there.

In 1912, the observation tower was built by Karl Kleye using his own funds. The stone required to build the Heeseberg Tower comes from the Heeseberg quarries.

The rest area is near the Hainholz adventure quarry. A nice place to stay.

One of my favorite rest areas in the Elm. Just sit there, enjoy the peace - the trees rustle and you're on your own (so mostly).
