The Veste Landskron is a little off the beaten path on a single-lane country road. But a visit is absolutely worth it, because the ruins are comparatively very well preserved. A club takes care of the maintenance and does a great job! The castle ruins are very winding and resemble an adventure playground. A detour here is very worthwhile. It is impressive to see and experience what was created here in 3 years in the 16th century!! (especially if you compare it with building a single-family home today ;-)) Thanks to a number of conservation measures, it is safe to enter the ruins.
