After a hike around Lake Wirchensee or as a break on a bike ride through the Schlaubetal valley, a visit to the Waldseehotel Wirchensee is worthwhile. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the lake.

Basically, the hotel is beautifully situated in the Schlaubetal.

This small, private fishing hut is located on the shore of Lake Gallen, hidden between tall trees. The path to it leads through a gentle forest path that merges into the quiet seclusion of the lake. The hut, simple and idyllic, offers a perfect retreat for anglers. From the veranda you have a wonderful view of the still water, which blends perfectly into the surroundings. Not only can you fish here, but you can also enjoy the peace and quiet of nature - far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

An artistically gifted resident of Kieselwitz has given the boulder, which dates back to the Ice Age, a hiking motto - a pretty eye-catcher along the way.

A charcoal burner's place with a foam piler and a charcoal burner's hut was recreated here. This is not a forest hut or a rest area, as previously written here. Very informative displays explain that charcoal was produced on a large scale in this area centuries ago. Very interesting, especially since you can also find evidence of such former charcoal burners in the forest. Some are marked.

A good opportunity to reward yourself for the kilometers comfortably on the terrace!
