Between 1816 and 1826, at the initiative of landowner Otto von Arnim, the old village in Criewen was demolished and rebuilt further east. This made room for the creation of a landscape park, designed by landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné. At the center of the park are the reconstructed castle and the village church. The 9-hectare park is well preserved and, with its rare trees such as bald cypress, large-leaved linden, and plane tree, is an inviting place for strolls.

Beautiful cycle path with many stone sculptures on Lake Münde. There are regular benches where you can rest.

Worth a visit at any time of the year...but in September, when the red deer roar, it's a real highlight. Tip: Take a walk from the ponds west into the forest :-)

The approximately 320.3 hectare nature reserve with the Blumberger fish ponds and the Blumberger mill extends southwest of Görlsdorf, a district of Angermünde. The Welse, a left tributary of the Oder, flows through the area. Unfortunately there is only one path through the fish ponds and unfortunately it is paved. So you don't see much of the ponds. A visit to the NABU Blumberger Mühle information center is definitely worth it.
