The Großenbach Valley near Sachsenbrunn (a district of Eisfeld in the Thuringian Forest) is an idyllic, wooded valley surrounding the Großenbach River, which flows into the Werra River at Sachsenbrunn. With the nearby Bleßberg (867 m) and the yew grove, the region offers excellent hiking and recreational opportunities in the upper Werra Valley.

The forest here isn't quite as dense as described above. Borki has been causing havoc, and the forest workers have been busy clearing it out. Nevertheless, it's still a very beautiful valley.
