Very nice

At the southern end of Lake Wilhelmstal in the Wilhelmstal Palace Park, a small but impressive natural phenomenon reveals itself: When the water level is high, the lake's outflow transforms into an impressive waterfall that cascades directly beneath a picturesque bridge. The rushing water and the surrounding parkland with its mature trees create a magical atmosphere – perfect for nature lovers, walkers, and photographers. The waterfall is especially beautiful after rainfall or during periods of abundant water.

A very beautiful little bridge. You quickly forget that you're right on the road.

The pretty bridge is the Fürst-Pückler Bridge, named after the park designer.

Not far from Altenstein Castle, you will find this picturesque little waterfall. It is still in the castle park and was created artificially. At the same time, a Swiss-style alpine hut was built just a few meters away when the park was designed.

The Wilhelmsthal Castle Park is considered an outstanding Pückler park in Thuringia. The ensemble of castle, lake and park is enchanting. Take your time to visit.
