The Wildenstein Valley is the most beautiful valley on the Donnersberg. In the past, hikers could also hike the back part of the valley to the Kirsch- and Wasserdelle and from there to the Wildensten ruins. Today, there are many obstacles in the way.

This path is definitely a highlight, but it's not for walkers and those who don't know how to behave. But for me it's an adventure every time because it's different every time.

One should no longer commit such paths, even if it is still recommended. So not a highlight for me.

A beautiful, lonely valley - on the left side of the Erlenbach the path is natural, on the right side it leads (asphalted) to the former forester's house Erlenbach.
