Neuhemsbachの近くの非常に高い山 :-)

The "Am Klauserkopf" cycle tour leads through the idyllic landscape of the Palatinate Forest, combining nature experiences with cultural aspects. Tour description: The route starts in Münchweiler an der Alsenz and leads over the Klauserkopf (384 m) to Stauf. Along the way, there are numerous viewpoints offering views of the surrounding hills and valleys of the Palatinate Forest. The route can vary between 8 and 12 kilometers depending on the chosen route.

Wild but beautiful descent, everything said about it. Route partly in really bad condition, almost more for gravel or MTB😂. Of course, it can also be driven with the RR. Even if I come out as a wimp or orderly person, I would definitely observe the one-way rule. What's the point if a car relies on the controls and runs over you while cornering?

Just as Lorenz writes: necessarily driveway from Dannenfels. The road is so bad, it only goes up. Unfortunately you have to drive against the one-way street (from "common law", which is of course legally useless) But there are hardly any cars, motos, etc. strolling around here anyway, and they are mostly slow because of. lousy surface, dark, steep 😜 Downhill Ri Bastenhaus: cool! Vmax: 78 km/h 😁

The descent to Dannenfels on the southern route is on the one hand a one-way street coming from above and the road surface has a lot of asphalt damage and deep holes. Definitely drive carefully. I would still choose the descent, because you get a new impression of the landscape, you also drive through Dannenfels and pass the monastery entrance. You could also make a stop at the café opposite. From the monastery, the road is again used in two lanes. So be careful when driving down!

It is actually a one-way street in the direction of the valley, but there is almost no traffic here. The driveway for bicycles is easily possible. Downhill is not recommended because of the bad road surface. As a driveway, however, the much better option, can only be recommended!

Best route to Donnersberg.

From the monastery it goes against the one-way street, if you meet 5 cars it's a lot. The road used to have two lanes, so it's wide enough to drive up safely. I always come from Bastenhaus and drive down to Dannenfels, for me the southern ascent is much more attractive than the official route.
