The “Hoppe Weiher”! It is said to have been created by a Mr. Hopp/Hope (American?) after the war! A hotel was planned opposite. Apart from the terracing, nothing more happened! Today it has been poached and the pond has partially silted up. The exact origin story remains obscure! You can walk around from the parking space at the grill hut.

Nice quiet forest lake... quite overgrown all around

We recommend. There are many rumours, most of which are not true. The water is natural water from mountain and forest springs and no matter how warm it is, the water is very cold. This is for everyone who really wants a real cool down. Here's the advantage, you don't have chlorine and other things in it. The water in general, as well as in town, is very soft and therefore noticeably good for the skin. The bathroom has been completely renovated. At that time, the entrance was still on the other side, adjacent to the restaurant and tennis court. We spent a few hours here back then and often went ice swimming in the winter... Of course, accompanied by the lifeguard, at least most of the time. (don't imitate!) for us the training was and since we knew him it wasn't an issue for us.

Quite a nice place to relax. Less recommended with a racing bike, but with an MTB hardtail it's fine. Probably with city bikes too.
