A very nice hut between Schopp and Schmalenberg in the middle of the Palatinate Forest. You can also spend the night in the hut. Nice place to take a break.

You can take a nice break at the Teufelshütte. You can also sit on benches outside the hut. I wouldn't enter the Kneipp facility, it's a bit of an eyesore.

The PWV hut managed by the Thaleischweiler-Fröschen local association is located directly on the Steinenschlossweg, which at six kilometers is a pleasant short tour to the nearby ruins of the Steinenschloss. The hut can serve as a starting and ending point, so that after the hike on the circular route you can stop for a bite to eat. Here you will find a nice and well-kept rest and refuge with a barbecue area. This hut can also be rented cheaply for events from the municipal administration in Bechhofen. There is also a large parking lot for hikers right next door.

The Fritz-Claus-Hütte in the middle of the Palatinate Forest and in an old quarry is a must for hikers! Culinary delicacies from our own butcher's shop and from grandma's cookbook inspire just as much as home-baked cakes at coffee time. Of course you can also spend the night in the rustic hut. A total of 13 beds spread over 4 cozy rooms are located on the upper floor of the hut. This includes two spacious bathrooms with shower/toilet and daylight.
