Start 2: Käppele rest area, Baltersweil, distance approx. 6 km. It's possible to hike along the waterfall/guard again—it's magnificent! Surefootedness is absolutely essential! Thanks to the kind people who went to the trouble of making this possible with stone slabs.

A narrow path branches off from the wide forest path into the Devil's Kitchen. The small gorge is becoming increasingly narrower and, as is so often the case, the pictures cannot accurately reflect the truth. My hiking stick was also used.

The waterfall is visible from the path when the trees are still bare. The climb is somewhat adventurous and only recommended with reservations. However, the countless snowdrops in the area around the waterfall are a sight to behold in March.
