It's worth taking a break here. From there, you can continue in any direction. Signs with distances can be found on the opposite side of the refuge.

Birkenplatz and Birkenhütte are a beautiful landmark in Rüdershausen. We stumbled upon this lovingly maintained rest area by chance and used it for a break during a bike ride. The entire complex is beautifully designed, with plenty of seating and restrooms. What's striking these days is that there are no signs of vandalism. 👍
