From here you have a great view over Holzminden and the Weser to the Köterberg, which appears as a striking elevation on the horizon.

The pilgrims on the Loccum-Volkenroda route can look forward to it. You have reached the highest point of your hike. Take a deep breath and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest before heading north or south.

Gradient between 5 and 7%, max. short time max. 8%. In itself very nice up or down, if it weren't for these cars 😅. Dear secondary route via Sievershausen, lonely and even more beautiful.

The Great Naked is the highest point in the Solling and the entire Weser Uplands. The height above sea level is 527.8m (maps say 527m, the stone on site rounds up to 528m). The summit is inconspicuous about 7km west of Dassel directly on the road to Silberborn / Neuhaus, but is marked by a beautiful stone. Unfortunately, when visiting the summit stone, a short run along the country road cannot be avoided. A few hundred meters to the east and west, however, there are forest roads that lead away from the road.
