On the Weser Cycle Path, directly above the Weser bank and with a view over to the old Landesbergen ferry house, there is now this modern rest area with a shelter and bicycle racks. There are no trees here to provide shade yet, but at least there is a ray of hope for cyclists!👍😊🚴♀️🚴

At the northern entrance to Stolzenau, directly on the Weser Cycle Path (northern extension of the street "Am Weserufer"), there has long been a shelter. Actually, it's good and makes sense in this place. Unfortunately, the shelter has been neglected for years and is becoming increasingly damaged.🙈🥲 There have been no places to sit for a long time. Why isn't there a modern, needs-based rest area here that meets Weser Cycle Path standards (shelter, tables and benches, information boards, bike repair station) ??? 😊👍That would be nice.

There's nothing better you can do for a cyclist. And all under magnificent, large, old trees. Fantastically beautiful.
