アイヘンヒュル池（アイヘンヒュラー池としても知られる）は、いわゆるヒュル池で、水が少ないフランケンジュラ高地の典型的な水源です。石灰岩の高原では雨水がすぐにカルスト地形に浸透するため、これらの人工的に作られた、または防水加工された池はかつて生存に不可欠でした。アイヘンヒュルの農民にとって、家畜のための中心的な水源として機能していました。また、火災発生時には、村にとって最も重要な水源でした。「ヒュル」という言葉は、集落の中心を形成していたこれらのタイプの村の池から直接派生しています。イースターには、池は常に非常に見応えのある装飾が施されます。

There's a lovely pond next to the sports field. A nice playground is also there.

Unfortunately, the blue sea currently no longer has as much water as a sea should.

After rain it is quite full and you can walk right past it.

Below the former "Hustenburg Kutzenberg" a theater workshop has now been set up in an old building called "Gut Kutzenburg", which mainly hosts the "Franconian Theater Summer". Shortly after the drive through (temporarily closed due to theater preparations) there is a large fish pond on the left. It looks very idyllic. Especially in autumn when the surrounding vegetation is reflected in the water. So more of a place to rest and relax than a "high-speed event location". Very suitable for seniors ;-)

Nice little spring but, in very warm temperatures, the spring is unfortunately dry

Interesting karst spring of geological significance. When I visited in early May, the pool was well filled and even shimmered a little blue. But that is supposed to be the exception. In summer there is usually nothing in it - actually typical for a karst area.

The "Blue Sea" lies under a rock overhang. However, it is mostly dry, which is no surprise, since we are in a dry valley. After the snow melts or heavy rainfall, however, the valley is barely passable, if not flooded.
