Today you can rent rowing boats and pedal boats to explore the lake. Also called Förmitz Dam. Interesting facts: The dam is a rockfill dam with a sealing core. The inner seal consists of a diaphragm wall made of earth concrete (clay concrete), which has a clay core on both sides and a support body made of rock and stone. The main reservoir has an area of 116 hectares and a storage volume of around 10 million cubic metres. The length and width of the reservoir are around 1.2 km. Long bathing area with lots of shady spots, a few benches and good, flat access to the lake. As it is a bit rocky, I recommend bringing bathing shoes.
