Great moor lake with wonderful beach access for swimming!

It is idyllically located in a forest and nature reserve and means relaxation and balance for many Rotenburgers: the large Bullensee. Recently, however, many walkers have been more of a shock when they see the newly built toilet facility on the beach section - because it costs as much as a single-family house. In the video we show what equipment people can expect and why they are only allowed to go to the toilet shortly after the opening. Very uniquely intertwined oak.

The Ahauser Mühle together with the old manor. A very contemplative facility with great photo opportunities. Warning: people live here with a right to privacy. The original mill building from 1694 was replaced by the current brick building in 1901. The mill operation was stopped in 1974. Coming from Ahausen, it is best to take the road in a south-westerly direction back to Hellwege.

The lake in the forest is of natural origin. Since the Kleiner Bullensee is in the immediate vicinity of the Großes and Weisses Moor and the Großer Bullensee, a trip here can be wonderfully combined with a hike through the moor and/or a walk around the large lake.
