The Berggasthof Kreuzhaus is located in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and is therefore a great place to stop for a hike. You can stop here all year round. If you want, you can even stay overnight in the Kreuzhaus. There is a holiday apartment and four double rooms available. You can find more information at https://kreuzhaus-haibach.de/.

The Roßberghütte was a former mountain hut. And the name of the inn was "Böhmerwaldfenster". The aging mountain hut is now only used as a private weekend home. Access to the site is prohibited. And because of the trees that have grown tall, there is nothing left of the former good view. It may be that the bark beetle will change that again in the future...
