The Bechthaler Weiher is located in the idyllic Anlautertal below the castle ruins, approx. 300 m as the crow flies east of Bechthal. The Anlauter flows past on the south side. The water area is approximately 1.5 hectares and has an average depth of 2 meters. Wooden beams lead across the water for balancing purposes and immediately separate the non-swimmer and swimmer areas.
