Anyone who follows the trail here must be aware that it ends up becoming a real via ferrata. The beginning of the trail is like a beautiful mountain hiking trail. Towards the end, however, you need to be absolutely sure-footed and wear good shoes, especially on the descent, even if it is only a short stretch. The scenery is of course very attractive. 🧗🙂

This contemplative place can be found a little off the usual cycle paths and below Lauchheim. Beautifully laid out and maintained, highly recommended for a short break.

On Mother's Day there is a procession from the Catholic Church via Rottenfeld to the grotto. Coming closer to the goal, it appears as if in a mystical apparition. Maria statue is illuminated and many candles are burning around the grotto. That really only happens once a year 😉
