...if I, as a "Roschtler", may be permitted to add that the "Rumpelbrunnen" is a hidden, small natural spring in the Buttendorf forest west of the same Roßtal district. It probably got its name from the noises created by the irregular flow of water. The two picturesque half-timbered fountain houses described on the market square and in Schulstrasse opposite the primary school do not have their own names and probably date from the 17th century.

The Rumpelbrunnen in Roßtal is a historic fountain located on the Upper Market. The fountain dates back to the 17th or 18th century. It consists of a round stone trough with a half-timbered superstructure.

The quiet section around the Aicher Weiher is very idyllic. Especially the small hairpin bend with the exposed rock always puts a smile on my face.
