Wonderfully idyllic quarry lake on the former military training area. Pure relaxation and not far away is the small quarry pond, which almost reaches the edge of the path but is hardly visible. You need to be in good physical condition to get here, because the sandy path to get there is very strenuous. But once you get there, the view is rewarding and the silence is glorious. There are no benches to rest, take enough water with you.

If you don't know your way around, you'll quickly pass what is probably the only place that leads to the lake, because everything is overgrown. Therefore, unfortunately, it was only a lap around the Riebener See without even having seen it :-(

Great views from several levels and in all directions. Don't forget your binoculars!

Many water birds can be seen here. The access makes a somewhat neglected impression. One of the access roads is also a bit bumpy, but at least it has been mowed and it is difficult to get through with the bike.
