Easy, scenic trails through the Windhagen hinterland. Tranquil and winding stream valleys. 😎👌 The Pfaffenbach Stream still forms the natural border between the Archdiocese of Cologne and the Diocese of Trier. The stream derives its name from the monks of the Heisterbach Monastery, who migrated from the Siebengebirge to Neustadt for a good 600 years to perform their pastoral duties.

Not only the Wiedtal itself is worth a tour. From there you can turn off at several points up to the Westerwaldhöhen and from there you can ski down charming routes with a great view back into the Wiedtal. It's a bit more strenuous, but it's easy to do, especially for e-bikers, and it's almost a must.
