One of the most beautiful hiking trails in Saxony is the so-called ditch tour from Krummenhennersdorf to Reinsberg in the Bobritzsch valley. The ditch tour takes its name from a ditch system built between 1844 and 1846. The ditch system was a mining auxiliary system to provide impact water to operate the mining machinery.
