Idyllic valley with a very nice rest stop in the upper Öhlmühle (nice beer garden!). The trail of the Trailsurfer Loop also ends here at the mill. In addition, there are deer and cows next to the forest path that you can admire.

Cycling breaks are mandatory there ☺️ great service for cyclists and pedestrians. Fridge with all kinds of drinks for own participation

Beautiful valley along the young Bottwar, which is easy to cycle in both directions. Coming from Gronau, you first pass the Untere Ölmühle and then, almost at the end of the valley, you reach the Obere Ölmühle, which operates a beer garden on weekends (in summer). Specialty are trout. At the very end of the valley, the ascent to Prevorst awaits, whereby there are two routes.

Beautiful, varied, very isolated route with a wide variety of path conditions. Walking along and through the gorge is quite an adventure, especially when the ground is slippery and wet. Good hiking boots are definitely recommended. I wouldn't take small children with me. In any case, we enjoyed the tour.
