Beautiful forest, paths are easy to cycle on. Rest areas available. One has a working water pump and a hut for shelter.

The 3rd stage of the long-distance hiking trail "Wilde 13" also runs along here. The "Wilde 13" is not signposted or marked, but can only be hiked using a GPX file at the following link: dav-hamburg.de/dav/Wilde13 (as of April 2024).

In the middle of the forest behind a swamp? The old shepherd's hut

Offers protection from wind and weather. Ideal for a break.

It belongs in the category "lost places"😲😄 You absolutely have to take this little detour with you! In the meantime it has already been discovered and "embellished" by graffiti artists(?). Who knows, maybe someone will be home at some point and have a cup of coffee left over 😉

The hut could be rebuilt ... a prime location :-)

There is an abandoned hut off the path, which, depending on the time of year and time of day, awakens the thirst for adventure or just shudders. As a child, I would certainly have spent a lot of time here.

To be used as a shelter, unfortunately not in a really nice condition, broken glass and rubbish are lying around in it and it is very dark in it. But it can help you stay dry, at least a little.
