Gemini hat gesagt カイザープファルツ・ゴスラー（しばしばカイザーハウスとも呼ばれる）は、ドイツで最も重要な広域記念建造物の1つであり、中世に興味のある人にとっては絶対に見逃せない場所です。ドイツ国内で11世紀に建てられた最大の、最も保存状態の良い、そして最も古い世俗的な建造物です。プファルツはハインリヒ3世の治世下の1040年から1050年の間に建設されました。ゴスラーはすぐにザーリアー朝の皇帝のお気に入りの場所となりました。その理由は単純に実用的でした。近隣のランメルスベルクが銀を産出し、皇帝たちは帝国を統治するために必要な富を得ることができました。200年以上にわたり、帝国議会でヨーロッパの歴史がここで記されました。

Interesting part of local history

Remains of the former Peine castle complex, such as casemates, bridge arches and moats, can still be found here. Peine Castle was first mentioned 1,000 years ago. The district court has stood in its place since 2000.

Unfortunately, there is not much to see there other than beautiful scenery and information boards.

There are no remains of the Vöhrum moated castle left on the surface. The castle was first mentioned on a map from the Meinersen office in 1675. At this point, however, only elevations of the former fortifications could still be seen. Oak piles discovered in the 1970s date back to around 1180. A total of almost 200 piles were found that are associated with the castle. Further scientific investigations in 2001 revealed an approximately trapezoidal structure of a core castle and typical associated facilities. Remains discovered in the following years indicate a stone tower and other stone foundations. Bones, ceramics, iron and bronze parts from the 13th century were also found, some of which are exhibited in the Pein District Museum.

In the western part of the city of Peine lies the southwestern bastion of the Pein Castle/Fortress. The total size of the preserved bastion is around 70 x 80 m. Today an earth wall and remains of the masonry are visible above ground. This is the last part of the Peine castle and fortification that has been preserved above ground. In 1134 - according to a copy from the 16th century as early as 1130 - Berthold, a member of the von Peine family ("de Painas", "de Pain"), was mentioned for the first time. Berthold was a ministerial to Emperor Lothar von Süpplingenburg, which can be seen as an indication of the existence of Pein Castle at that time, reinforced by the naming of his son Ludolf as Count von Peine. In the 12th century, especially during the time of Henry the Lion, Pein Castle gained greater importance. So far, only small excavations and finds have been recovered in the Peiner Castle area.
