The geological peculiarities are explained by means of information boards at 14 geologically interesting stations in a geo-adventure tour of Medebach and Hallenberg. In addition to various quarries, this also includes the Geological Loop in Medebach-Düdinghausen and of course the Heavy Spat Museum in Medebach-Dreislar. A lot of useful and easy to understand information about types of rock, minerals, fossils and life in prehistoric times are stored at the various stations and can often be checked directly on site. In cooperation with the Geological Service of North Rhine-Westphalia, the tourism experts of the cities of Medebach and Hallenberg have also developed an overview map, which you can download here, see download area below.
