The Vierbucher Mühle was first mentioned in 1576 and was a grain mill for a long time. At the beginning of the 20th century the first summer guests came and in 1953 the mill was closed. Today there is a wildlife park, a fishing park, and a hotel and restaurant. After your hike, you can make yourself comfortable in the beer garden and let yourself be pampered. Winterscheid is a well-kept place with a committed local history association, which has signposted a "history path" with information boards on various older buildings.

You can't disagree with previous tipsters. Great location! Not really recommended on Mondays - that's when the café next door is closed. There's nothing on Mondays - no coffee, no tea, no cappuccino... nothing, just a pond
